It’s been almost two months since my child transferred to Lily Valley School! While trying to decide where to send a 2-year-old in Singapore, I think I visited almost every preschool around the central area! In the end, Lily Valley was the best in so many aspects.

I’m sure many Korean parents are struggling with the same concerns I had. This is a place with spacious and pleasant environment for children, hygienic and healthy meals, well-balanced and structured outdoor activities, kind and proactive teachers, and a principal who always listens carefully to parents’ voices! (When choosing a preschool, I truly think it’s important to find one with a great principal — someone who is always present and actively looking after the school. At our previous school, the principal was only there during drop-off and pick-up times, so when hygiene and infectious disease issues happened, the response was honestly very poor.)

Since transferring here, my child has become even more cheerful and energetic.  She’s also learning Chinese, and English all together so naturally! Every morning, all the teachers warmly welcome her when she arrives, and some teachers from other classes even practice Korean just to speak with her. I feel grateful every single time!

And the most heartwarming moments are when older children from other classes come over, call my child’s name, hug her, and talk to her with genuine interest! No one told them to do that but seeing them naturally care for a younger child made me realize that all the children here are growing up feeling deeply loved and happy.

Originally, I was considering sending my child to one of the schools with very long waiting list, but now I truly feel so thankful that we came to see Lily Valley as well. You’ll understand once you visit for a tour! It’s a place filled with wonderful teachers and bright, happy, healthy children!

My girls are in K1 & K2. Their teachers are kind and professional. They love the school, and they always share many fun things in school with us!

As parents, there’s nothing more reassuring than seeing your child happy and excited to go to school every morning, and that’s exactly how our son feels. He often comes home talking about his day, his friends and the fun activities he has done in class.

We’ve seen him grow in confidence, become more independent and learn so many new things since joining Lily Valley. The teachers genuinely care for the children and create such a warm and loving environment that makes school feel like a second home.

Our son has been attending Lily Valley since Playgroup and is now in K1. We are incredibly thankful to his teachers — Teacher Lya, Ying Jie Laoshi, and Teacher Lynette — for being such wonderful educators and role models.

We are so thankful to the teachers here, especially Teacher Natasha and 林老师. At 4 years old, our daughter has blossomed beautifully — she has learnt to be more expressive, independent, and excited to learn. Both teachers have a special way of making her feel safe, seen, and supported.

We’ve been sending our two children to Lily Valley since 2023 and 2025, and our experience has been wonderful.

The school’s classrooms are thoughtfully separated with fully enclosed glass panels and doors, which has significantly helped minimise the spread of viruses among the kids. The overall environment is cozy, safe, and very child-friendly — even the outdoor garden and playgrounds are well maintained. Not forgetting their Atelier is always interesting and creative! Our kids love playing in the Atelier very much too~

We truly appreciate all the teachers there. They are warm, patient, and attentive to every detail. They’re always open to communication, and working together with them has supported our children’s growth beautifully.

Our kids genuinely enjoy going to school! They often come home sharing stories from their day and even say they miss their teachers and friends on non-school days.

We absolutely love the Reggio Emilia–inspired approach at Lily Valley and would gladly recommend this school to our family and friends. 💛

Parting ways with this exceptional institution and its outstanding educators has left us with an indescribable sense of reluctance. Now, as our daughter strides into K2, I am brimming with confidence that she will traverse the forthcoming year, marking the zenith of her early education, and concluding this enchanting chapter with the most sublime punctuation. Profound gratitude to Lily Valley and the entire faculty for these cherished moments!
